Advanced Weather Station with Full-Color LCD & Atomic Time - Monitor Indoor/Outdoor Conditions

The full-color display of this weather station provides you with current temperatures and humidity levels, along with future forecasts indicating whether the conditions will be sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy, or snowy. It features an accurate, self-setting atomic clock and date that automatically updates for daylight saving time changes.

The weather station records minimum and maximum values and alerts you to extreme temperatures. It also displays the heat index and dew point. Low battery and reception strength indicators are provided, and the unit requires batteries (not included) for backup power.

To perform a factory reset of the weather station and outdoor sensor, follow these steps: 1. Remove all power (batteries and AC) from the outdoor sensor and weather station. 2. Press one of the buttons on the weather station at least 20 times to clear the memory. 3. Verify that the weather station is blank before proceeding. 4. Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important). 5. Plug the AC power cord into the wall outlet and then into the weather station. 6. Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor. 7. Press the TX button on the outdoor sensor to transmit the RF signal. 8. Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the weather station. 9. When the RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the outdoor sensor and weather station to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. 10. Do not press any buttons for 15 minutes.

For optimal 433MHz transmission, place the outdoor sensor no more than 300 feet (91 meters, in open air) from the weather station.

When mounting the outdoor sensor, it's important to protect it from standing rain or snow and from direct sunlight, which can cause incorrect readings. Mounting the sensor under an eave or deck rail works well, and you can even construct a small roof or box for it, as long as it has vents. Position the sensor on the north side to prevent sun exposure, and mount it at least 6 feet in the air for a strong RF signal. Avoid mounting the sensor on a metal fence, as this can significantly reduce the effective range.

The weather station has a full-color LCD display with various weather icons, including sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy, and snowy. It provides atomic, self-setting accurate time and date with automatic daylight saving time resets.

The outdoor humidity range is 19% to 97% RH, and the indoor humidity range is also 19% to 97% RH. The unit monitors both indoor and wireless outdoor temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius) and humidity, with recorded minimum and maximum values. It must be plugged in for continuous backlight, and it has temperature alerts for both indoor and outdoor conditions.

The weather station requires a 5.0V AC adapter for primary power and 3 "AAA" alkaline batteries for backup. Temperatures below -20°F (-28.8°C) in the outdoor sensor require lithium batteries. A forecast tendency indicator and a signal strength icon for sensor transmission are also provided.
