The Ambient Weather WS-2902 personal weather station allows you to monitor your home and backyard weather conditions with its brilliant, easy-to-read LCD color display. This complete weather station enables you to track indoor and outdoor conditions, including wind speed, wind direction, rainfall, UV, solar radiation, barometric pressure, temperature (F and C), humidity, and more. It also calculates dew point, wind chill, and heat index.

The enhanced Wi-Fi option connects the station to your router (2.4 GHz), enabling wireless data transmission to personal weather station networks and the exclusive AmbientWeather.net platform, which features a user-friendly design for monitoring your data across different devices. You can quickly view detailed information with the animated, expandable modules.

Forge connections within the weather enthusiast community by seamlessly linking your Ambient Weather station to the Ambient Weather Network (AWN). This interactive platform empowers you to customize your dashboard, organize your tiles, and label your sensors, while also allowing you to share your real-time weather data and insights within the AWN community without additional cost.

The Ambient Weather Network brings together weather-passionate individuals, enabling you to join the conversation, exchange valuable insights, and be part of a community that shares your enthusiasm for understanding the ever-changing weather patterns. You can also add your personal weather station to the map and create your own hyperlocal forecast for the community.

When you open the app, you'll encounter an interactive map of weather stations, weather cameras, and map layers that provide a detailed and hyper-local view of current conditions. With this data, you can easily find information about localized temperature, "feels like" temperature, humidity, pressure, windspeed, and precipitation levels.

Set up email or text alerts for high and low conditions for every parameter, send multiple alerts for the same parameter, and view all past alerts in a handy timeline. You can also visualize your data with daily, monthly, and yearly graphs, or customize your graphing interval. The expandable tiles and handy charts and graphs allow you to analyze your data, or you can download CSV files for a deeper dive.

The Ambient Weather skill for Alexa and Google Assistant provides real-time and past weather information generated by your linked personal weather station. The AmbientWeather server also features a handy timeline for tracking IFTTT-triggered web services, applets, and devices like blinds, rain gauges, and lights.

Developers can retrieve their own real-time and historical personal weather station JSON-formatted data, or build third-party apps and get data from multiple devices. Additionally, you can connect to the world's largest personal weather station network, Weather Underground, as well as WeatherCloud and WeatherBug.

The wireless sensor array connects to the console via RF (915 MHz) up to 330 feet line of sight in open air (100 feet under most conditions). The sensor array mounts to any pole between 1.25 and 2" diameter with an adaptive mounting bracket and U-Bolt design. The station requires an iPhone, iPad, or Android device to program through the AmbientTool application.
