Newentor's Thermo-Hygrometer utilizes a high-precision detection chip to accurately monitor indoor and outdoor weather conditions, providing a comfortable living environment. It is recommended to mount the sensor vertically in a sheltered location away from direct sunlight and with good ventilation, as metal siding, stucco, and certain glass can reduce the signal range.
The digital outdoor thermometer typically takes 3-7 days to calibrate when first used. If moved from one environment to another (e.g., bringing the sensor from outside to inside in winter), several hours of calibration time may be required. The backlight can be turned on for 10 seconds by pressing the button in dark places or at night, as the screen is easily visible without it in sufficient light.
The sensor has an IPX4 waterproof rating, but it is still recommended to place it under cover for protection, as long-term exposure to rain can cause internal rusting and component damage.
