It is powered by a DC adapter or 2 x LR06 AA batteries, with the screen staying on and providing 4-level brightness when using the power adapter, while automatically turning off after 15 seconds to save power when using battery mode.
This multi-functional weather station provides 14 functions, including a WWVB radio-controlled atomic clock, time in 12/24-hour format, calendar, temperature and humidity display from 3 remote sensors, weather forecasting, dual alarm clocks with snooze, backlight with 4 brightness levels, indoor comfort indicator, barometric pressure trend, max/min records, low battery indication, and ice alert. It also features a USB charger.
The atomic clock automatically searches for and calibrates to the WWVB signal, allowing you to set the correct time zone for your location (-8 PST, -7 MST, -6 CST, -5 EST). The backlight will automatically turn off during the RCC signal receiving mode. The weather station can provide two alarm clocks with a snooze function for different times, helping you better manage your daily routine.
The weather station comes with three wireless sensors, providing a long transmission range of up to 200 ft (60 m) in open areas, allowing you to monitor the temperature and humidity data of a total of 4 places in your home, such as the bedroom, kitchen, or outdoor areas. To ensure a better connection, please select the channels on the back of the wireless sensors to 1, 2, and 3, respectively.
The weather station's built-in weather forecast function uses the data from the three sensors to indicate weather fluctuations over the next 8 hours, displaying through 6 dynamic weather symbols: sunny, slightly cloudy, cloudy, rainy, heavy rainy, and snowy. Additionally, it can show 3 vivid facial icons for the comfort indicator, helping you better manage your health and well-being.
